MICHAELA BURNS
OWNER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER
Michaela Burns is the award-winning owner and principal designer at Michaela Burns Interiors, with over a decade of experience in the industry. A George Brown College graduate and DDA member, Michaela blends classic design principles with an eclectic approach, thoughtfully layering textures, colours, and eras.
Her evolving style has shifted from art deco influences to a passion for soft-modern design, always grounded in nature’s balance of contrast and texture. Art plays a key role in her work, transforming interiors into curated, personal spaces.
Michaela’s work has been recognized with multiple NKBA awards and featured in House & Home and Style at Home.
Outside of design, she enjoys time with her husband and two sons, exploring nature, and managing four waterfront rental cottages in PEI, ensuring every space she touches is both beautiful and inviting.

CINDY GRANDE
SENIOR DESIGNER
Cindy brings more than 14 years of industry experience with her and is an award-winning honours graduate of the Humber College Interior Decorating program. She is passionate about building strong relationships with her clients and strives to understand their needs to make elevated yet practical design recommendations. She describes her design style as contemporary with a little bite and draws inspiration from global architects, designers and artists. She is often found on the go, sourcing the perfect decor pieces for her clients, and is always first to RSVP for team Nacho Night.

MONIKA LELKI
PURCHASING & OPERATIONS MANAGER
Monika is a seasoned interior designer with six years of industry experience and an Interior Design Advanced Diploma from George Brown College. With more than four years working in an operations capacity, she has thorough experience managing projects, budgets and client relationships. In her role as Purchasing & Operations Manager, Monika uses her keen eye for design to curate fabric and furniture selections for client projects while also overseeing billing, invoicing, project coordination and client installations. Her design style seamlessly combines comfort with a classic casual twist, and her favourite interior design style is a crisp, coastal vibe. She draws inspiration from nature and the ocean, crafting harmonious designs. Outside of work, Monika enjoys spending time with her family, and her two young girls keep her busy and on the go.

VERONICA DI GIOVANNI
INTERMEDIATE DESIGNER
With 5 years of experience in the interior design industry, Veronica brings a wealth of expertise and a fresh perspective to every project. As a graduate with honors from Humber College's Bachelor's of Interior Design Program, Veronica has a solid academic foundation complemented by her hands-on experience in the field. Veronica's love for her role is evident in her daily dedication to expressing her passion for design and art. She finds joy in pushing the boundaries of design, presenting clients with endless possibilities for transforming their spaces into unique reflections of style and functionality. Beyond the world of design, Veronica loves spending time with her family and she cherishes the moments spent creating memories with her husband and two young boys.
