our process
Creating a home should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Our process is designed to bring clarity and confidence to every stage of your project. From the first conversation to the final reveal, we take a thoughtful, collaborative approach—ensuring every detail reflects your style, needs, and how you want to live. Together, we’ll transform your vision into a space that feels beautifully cohesive, functional, and uniquely yours.
1. CONSULTATION
An in-home visit is the best place to start. We work with you to understand the design problems you are trying to solve. This will include a discussion of each room, your personal style, inspirations, timelines, your lifestyle needs, and budget. We will also review our standard contract and proposal.
2. Site visit
Detailed measurements of the project rooms will be taken. These will be used to create scaled floor plans of each room and 3D furniture renderings. Precise floor plans are essential in selecting new furniture and design details.
3. the ideas
Floor plans will be drawn to scale and will include a proposed furniture and finishing layout. Design inspirations will be reviewed, and final inspiration styles will be selected. Budget is finalized and approved.
4. the kick-off
A complete design presentation will be prepared for your approval and will include: colour scheme, paint and/or wallpaper, window treatments, furniture layouts, lighting fixtures and lighting plan. Quotes and prices are researched and catalogued. Includes 1 round of revisions.
5. THE SOURCING
We will complete the work orders and purchase orders for all items as outlined in the Letter of Agreement(Proposal?). Furniture will be delivered and installed during an installation week. We offer a white glove delivery and assembly service, complete with the removal of packaging and old furniture.
6. THE REVEAL
Once the furniture is in place, we will complete the final styling of each room, including hanging artwork and decorative accessories.
